The flag switch is free on purpose. It is the part that protects a student, and we are not going to put a price on that.

Pricing

Plan

Price

Who it is for

Individual

US$5 per year

One teacher. The key is tied to that teacher's email address.

Organisation

US$149.99 per year

A school. One key covers everyone signed in to Toddle with an address at the school's email domain.

Buying a licence

  1. Go to the pricing section of the product page and choose Individual or Organisation. (The extension's toolbar menu has a Buy one link that goes to the same place.)

  2. Checkout is through Buy Me a Coffee, paying by card.

  3. Answer the question on the order. For an individual licence, give the email address you sign in to Toddle with: the key is tied to it. For an organisation licence, name your school and its email domain.

  4. Your key is emailed to you automatically, usually within a minute of paying, from Nyuchi Learning <[email protected]>. If you reply to that email, your reply comes to [email protected].

A few orders are checked by hand before a key is sent, for example an organisation licence paid for from a personal address such as Gmail with no school domain named. If your key has not arrived within a few minutes, check your spam folder, then write to [email protected].

Buying individual licences for several teachers at once? Each key belongs to one person. We send the first key as usual and ask for the other teachers' addresses. For a whole school, an organisation licence is usually simpler.

Activating your key

  1. Copy the key from your purchase email. It starts with TEE1. and is long, so copy all of it.

  2. Paste it into the welcome page, or click the extension's icon in Chrome's toolbar and choose Enter a licence key. (Or right-click the icon and choose Options.)

  3. Click Activate.

  4. Reload any Toddle tab you already had open.

Your key is checked on your own computer

Activating does not contact us. The key is a signed statement that the extension checks locally, which is why it works with no connection and why activating sends nothing anywhere.

While a key is entered, the extension also checks once a day for cancelled keys. That request carries no key and no data about you, and if it fails the extension keeps working. See How licences work.

You can use the same key on more than one computer, such as your laptop and a classroom desktop. Sign in to Toddle with the same account on each: an individual licence is for the email of one Toddle account, and an organisation licence for your school's email domain.

Common problems

"That does not look like a licence key." Something was lost in copying. Copy the whole thing, starting at TEE1., with no line breaks or trailing spaces.

"That key is not valid." The key has been altered somewhere between the email and the box. Paste it fresh from the original email.

"That licence has expired." Licences run a year. Write to us to renew.

"This browser is too old to check the key." Update Chrome.

"This licence is for …; you're signed in to Toddle as another account." The key belongs to a different Toddle account or school. Sign in to Toddle with the account the licence was bought for. If your email address has changed, write to us and we will reissue the key.

"This licence has been revoked." The key has been cancelled, for example after a refund. If you think this is a mistake, write to [email protected].

More fixes are in Troubleshooting.

Buying for a school

An organisation licence is one key for your whole school. It covers everyone signed in to Toddle with an address at your school's email domain, the part after the @. The match is exact, so a subdomain is not included. If your school uses more than one domain, they can all go on the same key. Give the key to your staff, and each of them enters it in their own copy of the extension. Your IT team cannot push the key through Google Admin; see Deploying the extension to your whole school with Google Admin.

For an invoice, or to add a domain, write to [email protected].

Refunds

A full refund within 30 days of purchase, for any reason related to the product. Email [email protected] from the address you bought with, or ask through Buy Me a Coffee. A refunded key is cancelled, and stops working after the extension's next daily check for cancelled keys.

Honestly, about enforcement

A browser extension runs on your computer and its code can be read, so a licence key here is not a lock anyone would call unbreakable. It is a way for a school that wants to pay to pay, and to get an invoice. We would rather say that than pretend otherwise.
